SCAHTZI COMES FOR A VISIT

One of the nicest things about selling your puppy to a family friend who lives in the area? You get to have puppy visits.
Schatzi at her new home

I was a little apprehensive at first, but then Schatzi got out of the car and oh did my heart leap. Sophie went into mommy mode. She started cleaning her right away. It was the cutest thing ever. This was the first time Sophie has seen her since she went to her new home. Schatzi was happy to see all of us. I picked her up at one point and said "Give Granny a kiss". I know that sounds asinine and some of you are probably thinking you wouldn't admit to it. But, what can I say, I love my animals, they are my four legged babies!

I had Harley locked up, that is, until Schatzi ran over to his kennel laid down in front of it, wagging her tail. I let him out and it was pandemonium every where! Harley and Schatzi were all over the yard and the garage. Sophie? Well, after she was done cleaning her baby she just wanted to play ball. When it started to rain things wound down a bit, that is until Schatzi saw the cat. Next thing I know all three dogs are chasing the cat. I was so mad at Sophie, she got locked up. Celeste said to Heather " Time to go, Sophie is in a time out!" Which she was and home Schatzi went. There will be more play dates, then a long visit. Which I for one, am so looking forward to!

This wasn't the first time I had seen Schatzi since her departure from our home. I went to visit her last week Tuesday, I think. I had just gotten back from Oahu and was missing my puppies oh so much. I asked if I could come visit. She was happy to see me, as I was her. We played for a bit, then I visited with her new mommy for a while. When I left, Schatzi and her Celeste  walked me down the path. She is in a very good home.
